Lance Huebner is Founder & Principal Advisor at GFC Planning.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with 15 years of experience in financial planning, investment management, and client service. Prior to GFC Planning, Lance spent over a decade as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. 

Lance discovered early on that money could work for people, not just be earned and spent. As a child, his father showed him how interest on a savings account allowed his money to grow.

“It felt like magic.”

He later realized that what he found most exciting and empowering, many others found overwhelming and confusing. People who had worked hard their entire lives were unsure if they were making the right financial decisions.

That was the spark that ignited his desire to follow in his mother’s footsteps as a financial advisor; helping people gain clarity and confidence about their financial future and make the most of their money.

Lance and his high school sweetheart, Amy, have been married for nearly 20 years. Together they’re raising two daughters, along with two dogs that keep their home lively.

He is also a United States Army combat veteran who served in Iraq in 2005, earning a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in battle and an Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service. Lance is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota.
